Production Designer, Art Director, and Art Department Assistant with over eight years of design experience in feature films, theatre productions, television, commercials, and music videos. Hardworking and eager to apply her skills to new jobs, collaboratively engaging with other departments to flesh out visually rich worlds.
Having recently worked on a Marvel feature film at Fox Studios Sydney as a Design Assistant for the Art Department for over a year. Has a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Design for Performance from The National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), a certificate of Design from Canberra Youth Theatre (CYT). Employed with different theatre companies in Canberra, Sydney, and Pittsburgh (USA), working in film with Marvel, Triple J Unearthed for music videos, independent short films, AFTRS (Australian Film, Television & Radio School), Microsoft Surface Go, Foxtel Sports, NAB, Google, TedX, Bethesda and Beyond Productions on television shows, commercials and game trailers. After graduating from NIDA she co-founded ARACOURT, with her business partner, Courtney Westbrook, and the pair have just released their first award-winning in-house stop-motion animation, CNUT. The winner of the Short Film Factory Selection 2020 and winner of Best Stop Motion / Time-lapse for SHORT To the Point International Film Festival 2020 and selected for another five awards internationally.
She began drafting with Rhino 6, props and set pieces for Set Designers and Set Decoration. And thrives in environments where she is able to push her existing knowledge and learn new skills. She is enthusiastic and caring about her work, and takes great pleasure in working alongside others.

Contractor: Event Design, TRESemme Times Anniversary - TRESémme - Event - 2024
Sourcing and styling a photo opportunity salon corner for the event. This involved creating brand documents and a style guide using the location and TRESémme’s existing brand colour palette to direct the items I sourced. Working closely with ‘With Smee’.
Designer: Production, Jamey Foxton -‘Confessions Of A Love In Twilight’ - Independent Music Video - 2024
I began meetings with the musician and director Jamey Foxton, and the Cinematographer Gabriel Morrison and we quickly came to realise the huge scope of the project. About 12 sets and only 1 day of scheduled shooting. I knew instantly we needed a controlled environment where we could change to multiple sets in a day. We ended up shooting at Sydney Props studio which worked wonderfully.

I sourced items and designed the Mexican-themed End-of-Year Party for Zimmer—man. I worked alongside Katie Smee (With Smee) to realise the client’s pitch for the event.
Designer: Production, BVT -‘God Bless The Trap’ - Independent Music Video - 2023
Came on as a replacement designer for the Music video God Bless The Trap by artist BVT, working closely with Kate Cornish who was Director and Cinematographer to make the most of an abandoned church location (The Kirk), on Cleveland Street. A three day long shoot managing to location, sourcing all the props and specialty dressing for the shoot.

[Event Cancelled] Designing the stage for Olivia Rodrigo’s Album Launch in Sydney. Working alongside Katie Smee (event company With Smee), in realising the pitch that was sent to the clients. Recreating a 90s loungeroom on the Eternity Playhouse stage for the event.
Designer: Production, ‘The Disposables’, ABC Me Television series – 2022
Duo-Production Designer with Courtney Westbrook as ARACOURT Studio. An ABC Me and Photoplay production. Directed by Renny Wijeyamohan and Sonia Whiteman, Production Manager Katie Shearer and Producer Karen Radzyner. The Australian production is a story about an immigrant family uncovering political corruption and saving the world from a plastic-eating monster. Filmed for mini-series release on TikTok and full drama release on ABC Me.

Designed, sourced and styled the costumes and locations for a quit-smoking ad. Working with Acuity Productions and ACON to facilitate a cohesive look across multiple locations and lead actors.

Worked with the Production Designer, Natalie Beak and the Set Decorator, Caley Miles, to source set dressing for some of the main sets. And worked across some props buying for Alex Muir the head of Props.
Assistant: Standby Props, ‘The Messenger’, ABC Television series – 2022
Assisted the onset standby props for a series of away shoots, travelling to Lismore and outer Sydney for shoots. Worked closely with the onset crew in facilitating large extra crowd days and wet downs for shooting.
Onset: Dresser / Art Assistant / Mentor, ‘Capstones’, AFTRS Master’s short films – 2022
Worked as a mentor and Art Assistant with the graduating Design Students from AFTRS (Australian Television Radio School). Training them to operate onset as many did not have onset experience in the role as a Production Designer. Worked on over eight short film productions over the course of two months.
Designer: Production, Introspect - ‘Winterbloom, Music Video Promotional – 2022
Sourced and made a snowy tree set for a music video promotional photo shoot for the band Introspect. The band approached me to create a snowy landscape with a fir tree, grass tufts and moulded hills to meld with their video mapping technician. It was a good experiment in low budget and tight turnaround dressing to create a really interesting video promotion for the band.
Casual: Art Department & Set Decoration, ‘Secrets She Keeps: S2’, Television Series – 2022
The second season of Secrets She Keeps was directed by Catherine Millar and Jennifer Leacey, and produced by Lingo Pictures, Helen Bowden, and Paul Watters. Writers Michael Robotham (based on the novel by), Jonathan Gavin, Sarah Walker, Production Design Josephine Ford, Starring Laura Carmichael, Jessica De Gouw, Michael Dorman. Worked with a small tight-knit team of set decorators and art department crew set dressing and sourcing props for a few weeks.
Assistant: to the Production Designer, ‘The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart’, Television Series – 2021 - 2022
An eight-part television series based on the Holly Ringland novel, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Produced by Amazon, Sarah Lambert and Barbara Gibbs, writers Kirsty Fisher, Kim Wilson, Sarah Lambert (adapted by), Holly Ringland, starring Sigourney Weaver, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frankie Adams. Production Design, Melinda Doring, Set Decoration, Paul Sarpi, Art Direction, Anthea Hodge. I worked on the production from start to finish (a total of eight months) as Melinda Doring’s (Production Designer) design assistant. It was a fantastic experience working alongside such a creative and detail-orientated team.
Onset: Dresser, ‘Pokerface’, Feature Film – 2021
A feature film produced, directed and starring Russell Crowe. Produced and filmed in stages at Fox Studios Australia and on location in Kiama. Writer Stephen M. Coates, starring Russell Crowe, Elsa Pataky, Liam Hemsworth, Jacqueline McKenzie, RZA, Daniel MacPherson, Sam Levine, and Benedict Hardie. Over a few months of shooting in one of the sound stages and managing an entire onset role by myself. It was a challenging experience managing such a large set with a small onset team, the experience taught me how to collaborate with other departments and communicate the needs of my department.
Standby: Props, ‘Mumlife’, Short Film – 2021
Production by AFTRS (Australian Film, Television and Radio School). Written by Gerard Dewhurst, music and lyrics by Sophia Christopher, developed by Ruby Challenger and Claudia Shepherd. Design by Emily Jansz. Roles include mentoring the Masters of Design Students on how to run a shoot as a Production Designer while operating as a Standby Props person.
Junior Swing Gang: Set Decoration, ‘Thor: Love & Thunder’, Feature Film – 2021
Production company Marvel Studios. Written by Stan Lee, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and Taika Waititi. Directed by Taika Waititi, starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Tessa Thompson, and Karen Gillian. Minor prop and set dress build, major set dressing bump-ins, maintaining set dressing during shoots, bump out and organization of set dressing and props for storage. Competent use of power tools for manufacturing and construction of set dressing, use of design skills, and capable management of small teams.
Swing Gang Labourer: Set Decoration, ‘Pieces of Her’, Television – 2021
Production company Made Up Stories & Endeavor Content, distribution by Netflix. Created by Charlotte Stoudt. Directed by Minkie Spiro, starring Toni Collette, Bella Heathcote, David Wenham, Jessica Barden, Joe Dempsie, Jacob Scipio, and Omari Hardwick. Duties included, set dressing locations for filming, bumping in and bumping out sets, maintaining onset dressing during filming, and organizing and labelling new set dressing and props for storage at the warehouse.

My role included design research, documentation, building presentations, and assisting Sharee with development.

Production company Sincerely Cecilia Pty Ltd, Co-Written & Directed by Kane Senes, Hannah Barlow, director of photography Steve Arnold, production design Michael Price, and costume design Renate Henschke. An Australian comedy horror about best friends, love, jealousy, and the alluring power of social media. Set dressing sourced for an entire house dress in a week. Skills employed during this contract were; sourcing sponsorship, buying signature items for set dressing, set dressing the whole house, painting walls. Bumping out and organizing set dressing and props for storage.

Directed by Justin Kurzel, written by Shaun Grant, director of photography Germain McMicking, production and costume design Alice Babidge. An Australian G-troit Films Pty Ltd production about Martin Bryant and his relationship with Helen. Starring Caleb Landry Jones, Essie Davis, Judy Davis, and Anthony LaPaglia. Some pre-production assistance for Art Department, doing graphic design research, developing presentation packages for the Production Designer and Art Directors. Onset duties, prepping the onset truck, managing set dressing and props alongside standby props. Set dressing and assisting the animal wranglers with the 10 film dogs.
Design Assistant: Art Department, ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’,Feature Film– 2019 - 2020
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, written by Dave Callaham, Steve Englehart, director of photography Bill Pope, production design Sue Chan, costume design Kym Barrett. A Disney action film shot at Fox Studios in Australia. Responsibilities included; design research for Sue Chan and Art Directors, design packages, references, and presentation deliverables. Management and distribution of set plans to all Heads of Department, tracking and logging design amendments across all stages of the set design. Set and prop drafting in 3D for Set Decoration and Set Designers, floor design, and mosaic design for sets.

Directed by Dave Wallace, Katie Ryerson, Leonie Blignaut, and John Mavety, produced by Marie du Buisson, Jo Parkinson, and Katie Cattell. Director of Photography Geoff Thomas, Costume Design Rachel Giuffre. Fourteen episodes filmed over a nine week period, involving numerous locations. Episodes ranging from the early 1900s to the most recent 2019, each episode based on a true crime murderer and recreating the lives of the victims and the murders themselves.

Filmed in Collector, Goulburn, Sydney (NSW), Canberra (ACT) in early 2019.

A nostalgic short film about a group of young boys adventuring into a creepy forest. The film was sponsored by some large film brands, Polaroid and Panavision, made possible by Powerhouse Pictures. Costumes, specialty props, and set dressing was managed by myself and shot in some very remote and stunning bush locations.

Microsoft Surface Go commercial in collaboration with CBS Interactive, Directed by David Burrowes, Produced by Joel Hagen, DOP Brad Conomy, the short TV commercial was shot at the CBS offices in Sydney. As the Designer on that project, I had the job of turning their offices into a primary school environment.
