No Exit

No Exit

Theatre production for NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DRAMATIC ARTS (NIDA)

No Exit, written by Sarte is a cruel reflection of humans deepest and most awful characteristics, lying, cheating, adultery, hatred and murder.

Trapped in a room with one door, a waiter's bell, one piece of art, uncomfortable furniture, continual light and two other people you detest or love, sounds like hell. Inez, Estelle and Garcin find themselves in a limbo state after enacting whatever evil that got them trapped in this room for eternity.

Based on an anechoic chamber (eliminates all sound), the audiences are forced to endure the same hell as these characters, seated in a room with never ending light, never changing scenes and all sound is deafened creating an immersive world from which to watch these characters burn.
